Arrival Story:
Lucy was one of several stray "jailhouse" kitties that hung out in the parking lot next to the county jail (I work next door). When I took her home, she was about 6 months old and weighed less than two pounds! I thought I would try to find her a new home, but soon realized that I loved her too much to give her up!

Bio:
When Lucy was young, she was diagnosed with Stomatitis, an auto-immune disorder that caused nasty infections in her mouth and throat. After several attempts at treatment, we had all her teeth pulled and she immediately got better. Some people ask me, "How does she eat without teeth?" I think her girth speaks for itself.
