The laptop bag is mine.

I am a cat. If I so desired, I would fit very well on your lap.

The laptop bag is soft and fuzzy and I fit very well inside.

Therefore, if the cat fits in the laptop bag, the laptop bag belongs to the cat.

Just my view on things (which is obviously the correct view).
