Arrival Story:
Stitch was given to the Yolo County SPCA because the girl who adopted him from an animal shelter was moving to a place that did not allow animals. I fostered him for about a month before he was adopted and returned within 1 week. I decided that he was such a sweet boy and if nobody adopted him by the time I left for the summer that I would adopt him. So I did!

Bio:
Stitch is a big, funny boy who will roll up into a ball when he's angry or scared. He's a total sweetheart and he loves getting belly rubs and always wants to make sure you're well groomed before you pet him. He loves playing, but he spends most of his time sprawled out on the floor, basking in the sun. He's smart and extremely well behaved. Stitch gets along great with other cats and dogs! He gets nervous around new people and in new situations, but once he warms up to you he's a big lovebug!! He seems to like being an only cat, but he also loves trying to play with Rascal and Priscilla or the foster kitties!

Well, my foster mom finally realized that she needed to adopt me and she brought me home. I had to ride in a strange car for 7 and a half hours, but I was very brave and everybody was impressed with me (as always). When we got to our new home, I saw my 2 new sisters, but that's the last time I was really able to see them 'cause they don't like me yet. They hiss and growl whenever they catch my scent or mommy opens the door wide enough that they can see me. I guess they think that our house isn't big enough for 3 cats, but I'm very quiet and nice to everyone and I don't take up much space. Since my new sisters are so mean to me, I have to stay in mommy's room, but I don't really mind because I was stuck in her room when we lived up in Davis, too.
I did get into a little trouble today, but it wasn't my fault 'cause I got left alone all day. I got bored so I found the treat bag and I finished chewing a hole in it. Other than that I'm really happy 'cause mommy says I never have to go to PetCo again! I hated that place; it was big and scary and there were all sorts of new people and things. Plus, there were a bunch of people and they were always paying attention to the kittens instead of holding me and letting me groom them. Now there are 4 people that love me and will let me groom them-I think I'm really gonna like it here! I hope that Lilo and all the other kitties that have to go to PetCo find fun forever homes too!
