indoors Arrival Story: I adopted Benson (as in Benson and Hedges cos he's wheezy!) from the North London Cats Protection League centre on Monday 11th June. He is a two year old stray who had been living rough in someone's garden before being handed in to the centre. Bio: Benson has a scarred larynx due to a previous trauma. This has resulted in him being unable to purr with his mouth closed and as a result, makes a very loud cooing sort of noise when he purrs. See video. He kinda sounds like a cross between a bird, a baby and a tractor!!!
