Arrival Story:
Daddy wanted a cat named Torii, after his favorite baseball player. When he saw an Internet posting for a litter of kitties, he knew one of those kitties would be his Torii... especially when he learned there was one all-black kitty in the bunch. He wanted a black kitty. In an email, the fellow who had the cats for adoption said "he's my favorite." When Daddy went to get his new cat, the man's young son asked who he was adopting, and when Daddy said, "the black one," the kid also said, "he's my favorite." Daddy clearly got the pick of the litter!

Bio:
Torii likes to eat. He will wake you up if his bowl is empty. His size and shape are evidence of this favorite hobby. He is a very affectionate and friendly cat and everybody likes him, even people who didn't know they were "cat people."

I can't believe the kid's got the diary of the day. As if people don't already gush over how cute she is, she gets more attention.

Look, I don't want attention, except from Daddy.

I just want tuna. When's it gonna be "Feed Torii Tuna Day"?


My bowl is EMPTY

I just want to point out that my bowl is EMPTY and there is NO FOOD IN MY BOWL. This is obviously due to the fact that I have NOT BEEN GIVEN ENOUGH FOOD TO GET ME THROUGH THE DAY, and it is making me very crabby, and I am going to jump on the counter and chew up the paper towels and then I'm going to bug Gilda and then I'm going to run around meowing and then I'm going to...

Actually, just talking about all that has made me tired. I'm going to take a little nap, but when I wake up, watch out!
