Arrival Story:
Tafi came from a litter of kittens up the street. The owners de-clawed the kittens and left them in the yard. 4 years later, Tafi was was the only one still alive. I started bringing food and water up to her, and one day she followed me halfway to my house (I was walking) and then refused to come and farther. I scooped her up, and carried her the rest of the way. She was severely underweight and dehydrated. She had a enormous case of fleas, which the vet said could have killed her if I hadn't rescued her.
