Arrival Story:
My husband adopted Icky when she was 6. Her family couldn't keep her anymore because their new baby was alergic to kitties. She lived with he and his ex-wife, two dogs and eight other cats until she was 11. She was the only pet he took with him when he got divorced. At 12, Icky and her daddy became part of my family and she's been the ruler of the house ever since. She was a great cat and a constant companion for 6 years until old age just got the best of her. We miss her terribly.

Icky was one of the most intelligent and verbal cat's I've ever had. she enjoyed petties and fishies and loved to go out on the porch for her 5-minute patrol about once a week, but other than that she stayed inside. She was badly bred, so she had severe arthritis, but she never let it bother her, traveling up and down stairs until the day she died. Icky got her name because she had the worst cat hallitosis anyone's ever smelled. When she and my husband were getting to know each other, she breathed on him and he said "Damn, cat, you are are icky" and the name stuck (she used to be know as Sam-Sam).
