All hail Catsterland!
This week I met somebody new. I would like to introduce you all to my brand new brofur, Kosmo Flapjack the Hipster Doofus!
He looks a little like me! Mom told me that didn't mean he was taking my place though!
Introductions went well for us, and we already love our morning chase game! I think we'll be great friends!
Mom is going to try to work on Kosmo's page this weekend, so stay tuned!

Hi efurryone
Look out!!! I've hit my Terrible Twos with my birthday last Sunday! So, I'm a pretty hyper kitten butt. If I'm going, I am running. And if I'm running, then I'm cooing. And I never ever stop purring. But lately, now that I'm getting a little older, I'm hanging with mom and dad more, and sleeping on their legs at night....when they can't see me do it. Heehee...don't tell!
I've also gotten pretty talkie lately. What can I say...I have a beyoootiful voice!
I'm a little worried about my sister Wuss, so I've been steering clear of her today, and giving her a little bit of a break.
Happy thoughts to all the catsters,
Love and coos
Celie

Wait, I haven't seen any Turkey yet!! Are you sure you all aren't just pulling my leg!?
Anyway, if it gets me Turkey, I will tell you all what I have learned to be thankful for in my eight months of life.
I am grateful for mommies and daddies who adopt homeless kitties. Who knows what could have happened to me!?
I am thankful that my mommy and daddy turned out to be good!! You should see the buffet spread that these two put out!! Holy Cat!!
I am thankful for playing blanket mice with daddy.
I am thankful for my toys. I am thankful for my tent.
I am thankful for my youth, and my pure joy in running. I am thankful for my health.
I am thankful for my brofur Monkey, who cuddles me sometimes. Well, ok, so he's just there and I cuddle up on him...who's keeping score!
I am thankful for my sisfur Wuss, who is teaching me the art of dodging ninja-fast paws.
Did I mention the food?!
I am thankful I was able to help mom and dad. I know I'll never be Bratty, but I'll always be Celie, and I chased The Empty away for them. He would've been an awesome brofur to plot and scheme with!
And I know I'll be thankful for Turkey....if I ever get some!
Happy Thanksgiving, Cats and Kittens!
Miss Celie

Lately all the windows have been closed and locked. I can totally understand why...a few mornings I went over to the windows and my lil toes got cold! Why is it getting so cold?!
I had no answers, so I decided to ask Monkey and Wuss. They told me that this time of year, the windows always get closed, warm air starts to pour out of the wall things, and pretty soon, the world will go white.
White?! What's that mean??
They said that sometimes during closed-window time, white stuff comes down from the sky. They said it was fun to watch but icky to step on. They said it was very cold and wet, and that soon it would cover the trees and houses and ground and everything.
Wuss asked me, hadn't I noticed all the birds that fly over the house, always going south? She said they were fleeing from the white.
No birds to watch?!
She said some birds stayed, but the smart ones left. She said that when it's white, the sun is bright, and the ground sparkles, but it gets too cold even for Mom and Dad sometimes, so they wear shirts on top of shirts and pants on top of pants. Silly!
She said that sometimes during the white, a tree is actually brought into the house!! A tree!! She told me about the lights and the wrapping paper and the boxes and then at the end of it all, there's treats and toys! WOW!
Monkey! Monkey! I said. This must be the best thing ever!!
No, he said. Before the tree, sometimes even before the white, there is a great day of feasting!! Feasting!! He told me about Turkey. He said this Turkey doesn't come in a can or pouch, and that it's way better than that. He said that they'll roast the whole entire bird! He said the house is full of delicious smells and food and yums.
Of course, he said, mom's careful about what we can have, but there's at least a bit of Turkey in it for us. Soon, he said. Soon!
They might be messing with me. This sounds too good to be true! Can anycat confirm this Turkey Day?

It was a close call let me tell you. I was under dad's computer desk this morning, and somehow the corded "mouse" thing got caught on my paw. When I moved, the mouse slid off the desk and sort of swung and wrapped itself around me.
I admit it, I panicked!! I yelled and Monkey and Wuss came running over. Mom tried to help but I was busy making like popcorn between the floor and underside of the desk. The mouse cord just got tighter and tighter!
Eventually the evil mouse loosened its noose-like grasp and I was able to escape. My fur was all fluffed out and bushy. It was over in a matter of seconds, but I won't forget this anytime soon.
Be wary of those monsters that lurk under the desks!

That makes me all growed up right??
I really like my furever home. I have an older brofur and sisfur to look out for me. Well, I don't know if Wuss looks out for me, but she sure does keep her eyes on me!
It's sad that Monkey hasn't been feeling good enough to cuddle with me like before, but Mom the Food Lady always messing with him and it makes him a little cranky. But he showed me how to hunt the spiders that come around sometimes, and I can get pretty busy looking for them. In his day, Monkey was a great hunter!
I'm definitely my own brand of crazy. I heard Mom tell Dad one time that I was like Forrest Gump. I don't know who that is, but she said it was because I am always running.
You would think I'd have a present or some cake or something...but all the boxes lately have been coming for Monkey. Well, the day is only just started, so there's hope for that yet!

Today I was hanging out in the window and I heard Monkey saying "NO NO NO" to mom, in his not-happy voice. I ran over to see what was going on and caught a glimpse of Monkey going into the thing that takes us to the vet. I dunno what to call it.
I ran over there and jumped on it, and held on the best I could. I mewed to mom that she couldn't take Monkey away!!! But then mom did, and I was sad. Would I ever see my buddy again?
I ran to the window and watched mom put Monkey in the car!! OH NO!!! I watched them drive away and I was watching and watching...but I fell asleep. (Don't tell mom or Monkey!!)
A little later I heard the door open and there was mom and Monkey!! Coming home!! Monkey jumped out of the thing that takes us to the vet and I ran over to him and sat down next to him, showing my support! I was sooooo purring glad he was home!
Together, we looked up at mom, who had a little smile on her face. I hope that she knows if she wants to mess with Monkey, she'll have to go through me first!!

My family has discovered something weird about me. I LUV LEMONADE! If there's a lemonade bottle cap around...I go CRAZY. I HAVE TO HAVE IT. Mom and dad won't really let me have lemonade, but they'll let me have the caps! The other day dad had some Countrytime Lemonade drink packets (the kind that you pour into a bottle of water) and they were all gone. So he threw the box out.
I learned how to flip the garbage can lid so I could get it out.
They laughed and laughed. Celie is starting to sound a lot like SILLY around the house.
Then Monkey was trying to be a nice boy, and was giving me a lemonade rosette. How cool is that?! Only he messed it up and gave it to himself. MOL. Maybe he likes lemonade too.

Yesterday I went to the vet again. I'm starting to not like going to see them. This time, I was really nervous. When the let me out of the thing they put me in to take me to the vet (and what kind of torture device is that anyway?!) I looked around for a spot to hide. You see, last time I was there, I got a schotz!
The doctor came in. She's a pretty nice lady, but she's always trying to pull one over on me. Here came the stick with food on it again. I sniffed it, but remembered her tricks from last time and quickly backed off to keep my eye on her. Sure enough, I saw the needle.
She got me! I tried my best squirms, but she got me!
This time, I had a rabeeze schotz. They tell me it's all so I don't get sick, and I hope they're telling the truth...there had better be some nasty kitty flu's out there to have to go through all this!
Afterward, I got to go home. Daddy promised I'd get to come home so I guess maybe they are telling me the truth. I started to not feel so good and went to go nap. I even skipped dinner. Wuss told me that I better eat, or I'd have to go the vet ALL DAY. That happened to her!! No wonder she's always so cranky!
I woke up this morning and felt better though, and gave mom and dad some face-love at 4am. I was starving!! Soon mom got up and gave us some yum-yums and I inhaled mine.
I'm glad I'm done with schotz now, for a long long time!
