My friend Wendell was working in my yard on a late summer day when he heard meowing in the woods nearby. Max came out of the woods & was very talkative. Wendell fed him some leftover chicken. When I got home from work Wendell declared "guess what, your now the proud owner of a cat"! I live at the end of a dead end street so he was probably dumped. He stuck around. What unbelievably good fortune! Thanks god!
