Arrival Story:
At the end of Spring 2007 I was moving out of the dorm and into an apartment with friends. This meant I could have a kitty. Mom would not let me take any of our beloved kitties from home in Kenner, so I decided to find a kitty in Hattiesburg to love. After checking Petsmart, several vet clinics, and ads I stopped by one vet clinic to see how much shots cost. I inquired if they had any kittens that needed to be adopted. They had one kitten and a momma cat left. I asked to see the kitten and we instantly clicked! Now we're best friends!
Bio:
One of the volunteers at the vet clinic told us Sparkles was a boy. I went on believing this for a month until I took her to get her 2 month shots. The vet informed us that Sparkles was in fact a girl. Guess I should have looked a little closer. Sparkles' coloring is dilute tortoiseshell.
