Arrival Story: Our family had just moved to a new town and our last cat had just passed away. We read about siamese kittens for sale in a Nashville newspaper. So we went to buy one and Simon was the only kitten left because of his tail. It had been caught in a door, so it was short and had a crook on the end. Even though he was unwanted as a kitten because of his imperfection, he has come to have one of the most unique personalities I've ever seen in a feline.
On December 20th Simon passed away. I miss him very much.

Hello everyone,
My name is Jessica and I am writing Simon's last diary entry. Yesterday was a very sad day for me. I took Simon to the vet to have him put to sleep. We believe Simon had feline diabetes because he had all the symptoms. The vets didn't do a good job at figuring out what was wrong with him. I know I did the right thing but I feel awful about it and I didn't want to be selfish and prolong his life if he was in pain. I know animals don't have souls and there's no afterlife for them but that doesn't mean they are not important to us or hold a very special place in our hearts. We are currently trying to find a new Siamese kitten and have looked at two locations so far but other cats will never match up to Simon. He was the absolute best. We just have to keep looking and I know the Lord will make it all work out. I'm sure many of you have gone through this same situation-feel free to email me or anything.
I loved Simon SO MUCH.
God Bless,
Jessica W
Hello friends,
This week started out rough for me. These last few months I admit I've had a problem. A problem with vomiting. Jessica gets so mad at me because I eat too fast and then I puke and she has to clean it up. But Monday, unfortunately for me, I was taken to the vet. The vet gave me a new type of food (Sci-Diet hairball control) and some liquid medicine that Jessica pours onto my food (it's not too bad either). Now Jessica is very happy because I haven't vomited any since I've started eating this food! Not to mention, I don't get hungry as often because I can keep food down.
I just wanted to inform everyone about my problem and give you a vet update. I am taking a nap right now on the bed-nice and cozy.

Hello again my friends,
As you can probably tell, fall is here. Jessica just loves this time of year and so do I. It's so cozy, especially since I cuddle under the bed covers to keep warm at night-that's my favorite place to sleep. Right now I'm resting on moma's foot stool waiting for Jessica to go to bed. I'm really craving tuna, but unfortunately we're all out.
Halloween is almost here, which is pretty exciting. Yet, not as exciting as Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just love to chew on the tree and as you all probably have guessed I am a turkey connoisseur. Nevertheless, Halloween has its perks-like those goofy costume clothes that not only the children dress up in but the ones I'm forced to wear also. It's just wonderful *said with sarcasm*
Well, I've gotten afew new feline friends, which I'm very happy about-I was starting to think no one really cared I was on catster because not many cats leave me messages. But I feel a lot better now-thanks eveyone!
Looks like Jessica's about to go to bed, so I think I'll sign out.
Hope everyone has a lovely week and I will chat with all of you later.
Meow!
