Arrival Story:
We got Isaac and his sister from an organization in Raleigh, NC called Second Chance when they were 7 weeks old. The first night at home they clawed their way up the bedspread to get in bed with us, and that’s where they’ve been sleeping ever since.
Bio:
Isaac was named after Isaac Newton. When he was 9 months old, there was an incident with a heavy chair. It damaged his extra-long tail and a little over an inch had to be amputated. Now his tail looks normal length. He has been across the country by plane and by car. On our current feeding schedule, there are 3 meals, 8 hours apart. He wakes mom up at 3:00 am to be fed breakfast. He admires raccoons and wants to become a bandito. He makes a break for the outdoors anytime he can manage it.
Isaac's last day was September 25, 2009. He had pancreatic cancer.

So I'm just lounging around while my parents watch TV when all of a sudden I hear a loud SNAP from the basement. Mousetrap! I hurtled down the steps and started sniffing. Then my dad came down and picked me up. I hissed at him but he didn't let me go. Then he hands me to mommy and I don't want to hiss at her. So she takes me back upstairs and daddy gets to play with the mouse all by himself. How can I make my people understand that I'm *supposed* to catch mice? (sigh)
At least the next morning made up for it a little bit. All of the windows were opened! I love watching Cat TV and it's even better with smell-o-vision. Oooohhhh, I want out there! The chipmunks are bigger than mice, but I still think I could take one.

Yesterday my mom gave us some new treats. They're supposed to be good for our teeth and give us fresh breath ( like I need that). She must have given us too many. I threw mine up right after I ate 'em. Then mommy and daddy went out for a while and my sister started throwing up. She puked in 3 different rooms and on the stairs! And it was all green vomit! Ha ha!
Mommy didn't think it was very funny though. It took her a long time to clean up when she would rather have been watching America's Got Talent.
