indoors Arrival Story: Zippie had a sister he never met. She was but one of thousands that were sick or died due to the pet food recall of 2007. I had lost another cat (Spotty) just 9 months prior to losing T C. My heart was broken; I felt guilty that I had killed my baby girl. I had no intention of getting another cat. However my cat Diogi became very depressed & withdrawn without either of his siblings. He was now an only cat. I was afraid that that I would lose him too; so I began actively looking for a kitten, not just any kitten; but an orange kitten. I was about to give up when a friend of mine mentioned that a mutual friend who only has dogs found her dog chasing a pregnant feral cat who was trying to give birth. She & her husband trapped her & took her to a safe location to finish giving birth. Zippie is one of five kittens she had. Diogi & his best furriend Chip decided on his name; it will be Zippie after Greg Zipadelli (Crew chief for our favorite Nascar driver Tony Stewart), also because he zips everywhere he goes. Bio: Zippie turned 1 year old on 4/15/2008. He is such a sweetie! He caught the garter at his sisfurr (T C)'s wedding; knowing he is too young to be married he instead asked the love of his kitten life (Laurie) to be his girlfurriend. She in turn accepted. **watches as Zippie does his little "Zippie dance**
In about 3-1/2 weeks Zippie will be a big brother; well physically anyway. We already have a page for this little sweetie who will go by the name of Lollycat. Today is my birthday & I am 3! I sure have grown since I met all of you. If you ask me I am a FURRY good boy (even though my name is McNoNo). I am the best big brofur in the world, I come when mommy calls me (even if it means stopping in the middle of a no no).
I wonder what I'll get for my birthday? Mom is letting me have my pawty seperately from Pawlly, Lolly & Midnight who all have to share a pawty later this month *giggles* Maybe I'll finally get my furry own Morgan's Bed! We have like a million of them but most of them are Lolly's except one is Pawlly's, 1 is Midnight's & 1 is kind of everycat's.
Well I'm going to go to sleep now so I can dream about waking up & doing what I want ALL day long!

Today mommy is leaving for someplace called Burning Man. We don't really care about the where; only that she will be gone. So please don't worry, nothing is wrong. We just can't get online.
She is leaving today & will return on either Sept. 8th or 9th.
We will miss you all. Please keep our buddy Ginnger in your purrrrrrs he really needs them right now. Also our friend Montoya who is a Gato that moved from Puerto Rico to Canada is having surgery to remove his bad eyes & also getting his pockets picked (these will both happen tomorrow so please join us in purrrrring).
