Our Mikey of 17 years passed away 8/05 and we were very saddened by our loss. We missed the presence of a kitty in the house. So, I began researching online and fell in love with the attributes of the British Shorthairs. Luckily, there was a breeder not too far away. The moment I saw my lil' Chester I immediately fell in love with him.
We got him from a wonderful breeder in Palatine, IL. I've never seen such beautiful and loving cats before.

Well its been rough getting used to living with my new sister. She steals my toys and my bed, not to mention my favorite spot in the window.
Still, she does keep me warm at night and we do have a great time playing together.
Life with a girly feline can be fun!!

My new sister is now home. It was a rough start, but I think I really like her. She has stolen my bed a few times, but I have forgiven her. Her boundless energy has worn me out, but I must admit she has been fun. Today we took our first nap together :) She likes to play alooooooooooooot! Sometimes I like to just watch her.
