Oh my oh my oh my. It's my birthday today and mother RUINED it! I'm putting myself up for adoption right this minute!

It's not like she forgot it was my special day. When mother woke up this morning and saw me she sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I could have done without that but I decided to endure it because BETTER things were to come.
Last night I saw her take a can of Wellness Chicken and Herring out of the cupboard and put it on the counter. OMC!!! I was so excited that I could barely sleep last night.

When mother went into the kitchen this morning I got all excited again. Wellness goodness was imminent! BUT it wasn't. OMC!!! Mother opened the cupboard and brought out a can of my regular food and gave half of it to me for breakfast as if it were just any old day. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Tonight she gave me the rest of the can of regular food. It was only after she started eating her dinner and glanced over at the counter that she noticed the Wellness can. All she said was, "Oh. Sorry Pansy. I completely forgot."
NOT GOOD ENOUGH, mother. YOU WILL PAY!!!!

Later kitties! Gotta go compose myself and plot my revenge.
