Doing the October Cha Cha

I'm doing a little dance...it's Fall and holidays are coming. Which means more treats and presents for me!!

I'm very focused on my treats .

Honestly, I've simply been exhausted with tending to a grumpy mommee (she needs a knee replacement she just found out), giving her extra lovings and purrs. And tending to our business, it's been busy which is good but mom's moving slower than frozen molasses, so good thing I'm here to help!

Hmm...what else. Well...the oldest kitty in the house is going to be 18 soon, and that's kinda cool. He's not too friendly but I'll still have mommee give him one of my treats.

We are thinking (when we have time) about the next cat toy we want to design (I get to do ALL the testing..yippeee!) and I have to help mommee find the neat fabric she wants to use for it.

I'll try to post again before 2008 .

Nope, it wasn't a vacation!

I am so sorry. I've been gone so long, August is half gone with me just now finding out my breed, American Curl, is featured this month (smacking head).

Wahoo! Go Curls! (Curls is the breed nickname).

Mommee got hurt back in late June. Really has her teed off, it was not long before her birthday (50 something) so this really made her feel old!

Now...I think she should handle it with the grace that I am handling my approaching 14th birthday next week, and as well as I am handling the arthritis I have. I may jump with a bit more fore thought, but I'm still living life just as I wish, and not moaning about it like she is!

Hmph! But seriously, she is doing better, though still using a cane (boy, I'd like to get my paws on that cane, it has a blue tassle hoop thingy that I think would be soooo much fun to chew on!).

I've, of course, been keeping a close eye on her..I am the "kitty nurse" of the household, and take my duties seriously.

I am also co-ceo of our company, so I've been working my slightly plump tabby toes to the bone helping her pack orders, make business decisions...keeping her psyched up and tellin' her "we can do this!"

And so far, we are managing just fine..thank goodness for daddee though (I may be a great kitty nurse, but I can't drive the car! and neither can Momee right now).

Anyhoo! I hope you'll take a stroll through the gallery of Curls, there are some lovely examples of this oh so very rare breed there.

Late Night Thoughts

It was a busy day today...Mommee was doing business stuff, and I was napping!

Just had my before bedtime treats - chicken strips with glucosamine and chondroitin...I get 13 pieces (and yes, I can count them). Num!

I wish though, that she had shared what she and daddee had for dinner...however her Sicilian grandma's rec ipe for meatballs contains garlic, so no meatballs for me. My mom loves to cook, and promises me that someday, she'll switch me to a homecooked diet. I am looking forward to that!

The Tag You're It game was fun, I made some new friends :)

well, that's it for me. Time for 'nother nap, this time with momee and daddee.
