Them Dang Dogs! LOL

Satin's Passing

Last October 2009 Satin passed away from Kidneys that could no longer continue to help her live with us, but we know she is over the Rainbow Bridge with our other departed and beloved pets. She will always have a special place in my heart and will be missed.

Them Dang Dogs!

Like most days I got up this morning to hear the charging of the dogs heading outside. Boy, they are noisy creatures! Why can't they be more stealth-like, just as us felines are? Well, then they would be able to sneak up to us, wouldn't they? *Satin looks over to Marcellas*

I think I prefer to hear them coming, so for now I'll just have to take my afternoon nap to make up for not being able to sleep in today.

Mom opened the patio door this morning to let the fresh air in. I love fresh air and sitting on the window perch, letting the warm sunshine soak into my aging body is wonderful! I'm such a Sun Goddess!

I did manage to swipe at Olivia's nose today to let her know she was a little too close for my comfort. She is jealous of how pretty I am, being a "Princess" and all. Well, I am the older one and have managed to keep my position as such for many years now. I like things around here to run "my way", as it just makes existing here easier on ME.

*yawns*

Well, I think it's time for that afternoon cat nap, so I'll mosey on up to the window perch and let Father Sun coax me into a warm spot until it's time to eat.
