Arrival Story:
When I first moved to KC, I wanted a pet, but lived in an apartment. A dog was out of the question, so I settled for a cat (sorry to all the cat lovers out there). Anyway, the local vet gave me the number of a lady who was giving away her two cats. When I went to check them out, one was already taken, and 'Vegas' was the only one left. She kept him locked in a room in the basement, and when I went to see him, he was hiding in the rafters like a little Monkey bitch. He wouldn't come near me. I was all like - whatever - even though he hates me, I'll take him. Got him home, changed his name to Monkey, he pulled out all his hair, drooled all over me and the rest is history.

Apparently Monkey is from the Loo... St. Louis. No wonder why he loves Nelly! Monkey also likes getting high, his drug of choice, catnip, of course.
