Bummer Break

Hiya Kitties! I'm writing to let you know that I may not be around to help you celebrate and help you purr. My meowmy's been swallowed up by her senior year rotations. I miss you all & feel so bad that I might miss your birthdays, etc. But you're definitely in my thoughts! I hope you all are having a pawsome spring & that your summers will be pawtastic!

Reflections of a COTW

Meowlo Furts! My week of COTW glory's almost at an end & it's been purrfect--thank you to all of my furiends who helped me celebrate & to Catster fur the honor! Summer's been heating up here, so I've had to bring the whole porch lounging pose thing inside. I hope all of you furts are staying cool out there! And thanks again fur all of the pawsome rosies & well wishes!

Whoa! COTW!!

I just came in from a hot southern summer evening spent lounging on my front porch to find out that I'm COTW! I'm fur-labergasted! They must've been impressed with my porch napping pose! I've purrfected it, you know! I hope all of you fellow Catsters are staying cool & safe so far this summer! I hope you all had a pawsome holiday weekend! Well, it's time fur me to nag my meowmy to let me out--she has this un-pawsome rule of not letting us outside at night--maybe she'll change her mind with the whole COTW thing?! Grrrr...she's shaking her head, no. Nevermind...COTW is too sweet to let inside-time ruin this boy's evening! Happy summer furiends!!

The Birthday Vote

Wow! *blushing* It looks like Samoa voted yours truly a Dreamboat! And just in time fur my Valentine's Birthday! It's been a crazy few weeks and this vote reminds me of how pawsome my Catster furiends are! I had my annual checkup (with vaccines--lame!) and had an abscess lanced (also lame) by one of my Meowmy's' favorite doc/professors. We also lost a good Catster furiend, Arnold P.. So Samoa's sunny presence is so totally pawsome, lemme meow you! This bad boy knows a classy lady when he gets voted a Dreamboat by her! ;) Happy Valentine's everykitty! And Happy Valentine's Day to you and your fam, Samoa!!

Meowlo Knoxville!

Yes, we've finally arrived in Knoxville, Tennessee--and just in time! It started pouring right after our carriers were opened in the loft in downtown Knoxville where we're staying 'til Meowmy finds us a home! There's some serious exploring to be done here, so I'm going to get on that and hopefully we'll have more pics up before too long!! Purrs!!

Travelin' Blues

Whew! It's been a looong day in our Meowmy's car!! I'm sending out purrs tonight from Mt. Vernon, Illinois. And yes, I was sure to leave Meowmy a pawresent in my carrier this morning--I have a rep to keep up (& it has the bonus of grossing Annie out! MOL!). Last night I enjoyed watching gas station action from our hotel room. Tonight, it's under-bed exploration!! One thing I noticed: the air is getting heavier--or is it stickier? Well whatever--something's up with the air on this trip! And Alex is a master port-i-potty user! I mean, Meowmy slides this weird, tiny tray with a tiny amount of corn sand into his carrier, and the boy knows how to rough it!! Me? I'm a big believer in chaos...well, messes! Ooo! It's meds time fur the A-Team, & I like to try to get a little of that post-med-treat action. Hope you furts are all well! Purrs to the Pie breakfast club!! Goodnight!!

Bugsy in the Sky with Diamonds

I'm verrrry happy right now. Meowmy says I'm feelin' groovy. I'm on special meds that make me so happy that the purrr's on autoplay! Meowmy saw blood in my wee-wee on Saturday and took me in to the V-E-T (I'm even purring about that--I must be very groovy). They took a picture of my belly (they shaved it--it looks groovy), and saw a rock in there! --It's 'cause I'm a tough dude--I caught a mouse last week, after all! Anymeow, they made me sleepy and took the rock out--Meowmy said that it didn't belong in there. So now I'm chillaxin' at home, with an ungroovy contraption on my head--Meowmy calls it my party hat. It doesn't make me want to party. Purrrrrrrrrrr...zzzzzzzzzzz...

Trouble in Paradise

Once upon a time, I used to frolic in a large, wild, overgrown backyard while Meowmy was off at that work thing she does. Then something happened...something to do with a mountain lion, which is supposed to be like a big version of me, wandering the neighborhood. While meowmy's at it, she can tell me Bigfoot's out there riding a unicorn. So then me and the bro only got to go outside under Martial Law Meowmy's supervision. And then, when I worked my way past her and attempted to cross the street, she decided that I could no longer go anywhere near the gates. To show her who's boss, I went up onto the landlords' roof this past weekend. When she placed me back into the confines of the backyard, I'd had it. I stomped my feet and screamed at her! She said she never saw a cat temper-tantrum mirror a human kid's so closely before--and she raised Alex!! But being a little soft on Meowmy, I was nice to her a while later...after she had some time to think about her overprotective ways!

Santa Paws is Coming!

Get ready, kitties! Santa Paws is coming!! --Or so I heard! I hope everykitty has a super pawsome holiday season and new year! I've got lots of things to ask Santa Paws fur, but one of them is that everykitty has a loving home...that's not too much, right? I'll keep my paws crossed on that one! I guess I'm going to the hotel with the A-Team, but we get a whole room and I like to sit on the window perch and watch the birdies fly by outside! --Hey, it passes the time!Anymeow, Happy Holidays, and a happy new year, each and every kitty!!
