Arrival Story:
My 16 year old cat Jason had died in my arms only 3 days before my husband thought going to a cat show would cheer me up. I didn't want to do anything but cry, but he talked me into going "so when the time was right we would have some options". We walked around looking at all the Maine Coons but I just wanted to go home. As we walked past one of the breeders a motion caught my eye. It was a little kitten playing peek a boo with me. I stopped and started talking with the breeder about how Jason had just died. She asked me to hold the silver kitten. She said a man wanted to buy him, but he creeped her out. So she asked if he came back if she could tell him I wanted to buy the kitten. I startled myself by saying "I want him!" My husband paid for him and I just never wanted to let go of him ever.
