Getting attention and food. Definately the food part, feeding times are closely monitored.
Seeing you eat anything and not being able to eat/try some too.
Da Bird, nothing else compares.
Favorite Nap Spot:
He has a bed next to our computers that he usually naps in so he is close, and at night he snuggles under the comforter with me.
He loves his grain free wet food, but is very partial to any kind of pasta or soup, as well as the more usual tuna and chicken etc. Pretty much any people food except for vegetables and fruit, although he will examine these very very closely just incase.
He is not a particularly clever cat, but when I can pick him up, turn him over and nuzzle my face into his fluffy tummy, who needs skills!? He is pretty good at indicating exactly what he wants, and has a wide range of meaningful sounds.
Oliver was the first kitten I saw at the SPCA, as he leaned around the corner to look through the glass, made eye contact with me and miowed as I approached. When I went into the room to visit the kittens, with an eye on a cute tabby and white one, he was all over me - no way I was getting to look at anyone else! I was struck by his instant trust and confidence in people and how gentle he was, even in play. I was pretty amazed he hadn't been picked out already, since I had waited while two other groups of people looked at the kittens and took their picks to private rooms just while I was there.
Oliver is a very laid back cat, and has a strong personality. He is my first ever cat but seems more like a dog to me, he has infinite patience! I also used to think cats said "miow", but Ollie makes just about every sound except that.
