Arrival Story:
Miss Kitty was a "Forgotten Feline." She was left on the doorstep of an adoption clinic by the shelter by her owner at 7 years old. I am sure she felt betrayed! The shelter was crowded, so she had to stay in a room with no windows. No one wanted her, because she was very timid and cranky. She did not get along with the other animals in the shelter. She needed foster parents, so we stepped in. Her mental health was fragile from being confined for such a long period. She came here as a foster, stretched her legs, sniffed the dogs and began her road to mental recovery. After initial anxiety and scratching, she became such a fine and friendly little pal that we decided to keep her. She is very happy, and her situational depression is gone.

Miss Kitty has a black belt in karate, which she uses to show the dogs who's boss.
