A stress ball with a face and feather-like hair on it
Favorite Nap Spot:
So many to choose from...in his cat cube, on his scratching box, in the bed with Mom, in/on any type of box, in closets, and under the bedside table.
He can open a closed box of food and pull pieces out one at a time...if there are none close to the opening he knows how to throw the box in the air.
He picked us out when he was 8 weeks old at an animal shelter/rescue.
Nick developed arthritis in his back about two years ago. A little under a year ago he got a lot worse. He was in a lot of pain. X-rays showed a large calcium build-up on one of the disks in his spine, right above where his tail begins. It was pushing down on his spine and nerves in his back. He had an MRI, then surgery to remove the disk. It has been a LONG road to recovery. But he is finally doing good again. :D He still is a little slow at stairs, uses pet steps to get up on the bed, and is not as active as he used to be, but he hardly ever has any pain. When he does seem to be in pain he lets us know and he gets some pain medicine. He also is on homeopathic medicine twice a day.
Nick was always a big cat, but put on weight after the surgery. For the first month or so he was not allowed to jump, run, play, etc. He still is not very active, though he is started to be a bit more active lately. Because of this he has recently been put on a diet, and he is not happy.
Besides that, he can be a lover when he wants to, but will very clearly let you know when he has had enough. He does not like strangers, but loves his family. He gets very depressed if anyone is gone for more than a day. He hates other animals, so he has been an only cat for about 5-6 years now. He likes to be the king of his castle.

Need help with hard to catch feral
NOTE: Before you send me a friend's request know that me and my family are very pro spay/neuter, anti-declaw, pro rescue, anti breeding/buying, and friends of ferals. If you do not support these things please do not send a request. MEOW!!! >^..^<
Now, more about Nick. Nick has two mommies and one daddy. So when he talks about his mom he is talking about me, and when he talks about his other mom or his dad he is talking about my mom and dad.
This is my best friend Clinton

I have been tagged by Clinton!
The rules: Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog.
MY SEVEN FACTS:
1- I snore
2- I had a disc removed from my spine
3- I LOVE to bite for no reason at all...and not love bites
4- I have to be an only cat or I lick all the fur off my tummy and hind end because of the stress
5- I am very skilled at knocking things off the desk one at a time in the middle of the night till someone wakes up and pays attention to me
6- I am very scared of trucks. When I hear them...especially that horrible BEEP, BEEP, BEEP they make I hide
7- I like to play in the kitchen sink. Mostly I just get drinks from the faucet, but I also like to let the water drip onto my forhead and down my face. NO BATHS THOUGH!!!

Today was a grrrreat day. It has been so chilly lately, but today was purfect. I got to go out on a couple walks with my mommies, and my mommy and I sat on the balcony many times. I really like to look over the side at all the birds, deer, squirels, chipmonks, and everything else. At one point, I was sitting in the doorway in the kitchen. My family gives the squirels peanuts and peanutbutter cookies out there. One squirel had the nerve to actually come withing a few paws of me to get a piece of cookie. He is so lucky I didn't have a taste for squirel today. Then this evening, I went up to the kitchen sink and made my mom turn it on so I could drink from it. When I was done she gave me some fresh catnip from the garden. The night is still young, and my day has been so purfect! MEOW!!! >^..^
