FINALLY I made it to my new parents!

I made it!

I'm HOME!
Current mood: chipper

Wow! I got "fixed" which apparently means they take off a piece that ISN"T broken, then FIX the hole.
It didn't hurt, and I don't really notice it much.
I woke up really quick so Marty said I could go home with my new parents tonight.
(thank god they have internet, otherwise I wouldn't know where I would blog!)
They are realllly nice. I met Mom first, she filled out my paperwork. Then dad came. When dad got to hold me he didn't want to put me down! Mom tried to take me a couple of times, but dad only let her hold me for the picture.... Ha!
Dad and I have already bonded pretty well!
I love mom too, I curled up with her for a nap. I slept right on top of her chest and neck where it is warm and I could feel her heart beating.
I was tuckered out from playing so much.
Mom and Dad both are amazed at how much I talk. Its the siamese in me.... I have LOTS to say. I told them about my likes and dislikes, and my day, and my brothers and sisters, and about Miss Marty, I told them off for making me get in the car. I do NOT like cars, although it did take me to my new house, so I forgave them. I LOVE my new house, lots to play on! Mom and dad bought me a "kitty condo" and a million toys.... Yep. I think I am going to like it here just fine. Now if only dad would put me down so that I can walk by myself occasionally!

I am about to go in to get "fixed" (even though I still havent found my broken piece...) so I have to make this quick.
I was disappointed to find out that getting "shots" was NOT kitty treats. DO YOU KNOW THEY PINCH YOU IN THE BUTT WITH A METAL STICK?! Ouchies!
It wasn't that bad though. I got lots of kisses and cuddles from Miss Marty to make my boo boos feel better. The Vet was very nice too. Her name is Miss Karen. She talked nice to me the whole time and gave me a pet and a scratch under my chin. She told me that the pinch will keep me from being sick.
Miss Marty also told me that my mom and dad are looking into being foster parents for some of the other kittens at the rescue.
I may come home with some friends after all! Even though they won't stay, I'll still have buddies to play with which is really nice.
She told me that its not set in stone since they have to talk to someone named Landlord about it. What a funny name! Landlord?!!! I shouldn't talk. My foster mommy said that my name is another word for raw fish and rice. (YUMMY!) I am named after tasty things!
Anyway... I have to go now. They said that if I wake up quickly and look happy by tonight, I can go home today!!! I hope I wake up fast! I"M READY!

BIIIG CHANGES!!!

Today my Foster Mom took me and my brothers and sisters to meet Miss Marty. We were supposed to see The Vet to get "fixed" and get our shots. We were running just a tiiiiny bit late, so Miss Marty says she is taking us tomorrow.
Miss Marty told me that my new mom and dad wanted to adopt my twin! I was so excited.... but then we found out that they can't because their landlord said only I could come. I'm a little sad, but Miss Marty says that he won't have any problem getting a home because he's so pretty. Miss Marty also said that some of my new parent's have friends who might want to adopt my twin, so we can have play dates!
I'm ready to go to my new home! I'm told that I have bags full of toys that are all mine, and my own necklace with my name on it, my name is on my food bowls and my litterbox! CAN YOU IMAGINE? MY OWN EVERYTHING! Now I like to play with kitties, but I think I can get used to not having to share everything :) :) :)
Miss Marty says that my new mom calls everyday to check on me and to ask what I might want. She says that my new Mom was picked out special just for me. She has waited for me to grow old enough to go live at my new home very patiently because I am such a special kitty.
I'm ready to go NOW! Just 2 more days.... I can hardly wait!

Waiting to go home!

Hi! My name is Sushi! I'm only 8 weeks old right now, but next week my skin foster mom says I'll be old enough to go see someone named "The Vet". That means that next week I'll be a big boy! She says The Vet will give me something called shots. I think that means extra yummy milk and food! She also says that I will be fixed and ready to go to my new home.
My skin mom says that my new family loves me very much, even though they haven't seen me yet. She says that they call miss Marty ALLLLLLL the time to check on me and ask questions about my needs and wants. I'm glad they care so much!
My real mom says that I am very lucky. She told me how good it is to have a family who loves you. She said that she will be very lucky one day to be adopted too. I wish she could come to my new family with me.... I know I will miss her and my brothers and sisters so much.
My identical twin says that he is jealous. He overheard our skin foster mom saying that she wished that my new family could take us both. I wish that they could too. Our SFM also said that she talked to my new family. They really wish they could have us both too, but because of having so many other fur kids, they can really only take one of us until we someday move to a bigger house. Until then they say that I will be the only kitty, but that I can have kitty friends that visit or that I get to go visit! I am excited about that!
Our SFM says that my new family is trying to help find homes for my brothers and sisters so that I can visit them! Isn't that nice!
I can't wait to meet my new mom and dad and brother and sisters next week!
