I'm back, I'm back

Well after 3 long years, Mom is finally updating our pages! They had a new baby, and he's a handful. He kinda scares me with all that screaming he does. I hide upstairs until he takes a nap or goes to bed. Then I use Mommy as my personal bed all night long. Daddy thinks it's weird but we don't care! My Mommy's the best. She has given me the best life, when someone else did not. Neko & I hang out together most of the time. Sometimes we pick on Missy together hehe...we are still young you know :) Well I had another bout with a bladder stone...took a while for the infection to go away. It got so bad, that I started peeing on stuff. Mommy was so frustrated, but I couldn't help it. I'm on special food now, and I'm much better. I hope I don't have to do that again...I hated all those meds! And I don't like making Mommy feel that way!

I'm having my first teeth cleaning today...

Ok, not a good start today. Mom took me to the vet on Friday for shots and a microchip. Ouch!!!! Then this morning, she stuffed me back in my cage and took me and Missy back to the vet to have our teeth cleaned. This cannot be a good thing....I'm a little nervous as I tinkled on myself in the car on the way there. How embarrasing!!! Well on a nicer note, I see Mom finally upadated our pages, how nice and springy, it's about time!!! Thanks Mom!!!

Ooooooh, Christmas...

Meow meow meow. I don't know what this Christmas business is, but I don't believe I've ever experienced this before!! Mom put a tree up inside the house, and she put all this colorful shiny stuff on it. I was completely mesmerized. It seemed to make mom happy. My girl Neko just like playing in everything, but me, I am truly enjoying the beauty of Christmas. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Today is the big day!!!

Well, it's official...today is the day Neko and I are married! 11-11-07. Say it out loud, it's fun! I couldn't be a happier cat. Check out our pictures, isn't she amazing?! Well our names are now Ozzy & Neko Footz. Mom decided to give us our own last name because we both are very heavy footed when we walk and she thought it would be cute!!! Me, I don't care as long as there's food in my bowl and a warm body to lay on at night, I'm happy. More importantly I always have my girl by my side!!!

How cool is that??? I got tagged via pawmail from Shyla, and on my birthday too!!! I can't wait to try this out.... O.K. 7 things about myself huh?? Shouldn't be too hard...

1) I am a large black cat, but I am painfully shy.(Around visitors)

2) When my family adopted me my sheet said: Likes other cats : ???
Good with children : No. And the lady there told my family that I did not like anyone!!! Well, my Mom had been checking me out for a few weeks so she scooted around that lady and went over to see me inside my cage. Not only was I interested in seeing her, I rolled over to let her pet my tummy. Then I came over to headbutt my new Daddy. We all fell in love.

3) After I was adopted I slowly began to emerge and check things out. I then met Neko who was cautiously following me around. Everytime I'd turn to look at her she would hiss at me and run away. So I'd continue on exploring and there she was behind me again! This was my first meeting with one of the new fuzzy family members.

4) Then there was Missy. Man, she is a tough one. She is big meanie in a petite little body. I was supposed to bow down to her, heh heh, yeah right!!! I am still competing with her to be the alpha cat. I chase her daily and swat at her with my paws.

5) I am completely in love with my fellow housemate, Neko. She helped me over come my shyness. We are currently engaged and planning a small simple wedding.

6) For such a big guy, I have a very quiet voice. I don't meow much except when I'm playing with Neko, then Mom hears my little peeps.

7) I like to go up to my Mom or Dad, stand at their lap and put my paw to their face. (Usually it's because they're eating, but sometimes I do it just because I love them!!!) They love when I do this.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!

It's my birthday, Oh yeah! Lots of fun & presents! Wooo hooo today I'm two!!!!! Thank you catster for featuring me in your birthday stroll. Happy Birthday to all the cool Halloween Birthday Kitties!!!! Meooooowwwww! Have a safe Halloween everybody....

Well, I'm gonna go for it....

I've decided that I'm gonna marry my girl, Neko! Mom has started planning for us. It's nothing big, she's just going to do a little ceremony at home for us and take lots of pictures! It's not like a human wedding with guests and cake and all that silly stuff. She did order us some outfits though. I've never worn clothes before, so I'm kinda nervous about this tux thing. Mom said we'll do a few practices so we can get used to them. That's really nice of her, huh? Well as long as someone rubs my belly and scratches my chin, I'll be juuuuust fine! Besides, with my girl by my side, I'll be A-OK! Happy Purrrrrrrrrrrrrs....

Update on me...

Hmmm, well let's see....I'm really not that shy anymore!!!! I even let the human brother pet me without running away. And boy do I LOVE chasing my older sister Missy around the house!!! I get such a big kick out of it because she has this , "You're supposed to fear me" attitude, but I'm not really havin' it!!! I love pestering her and swatting at her, it is sooo much fun, and Neko likes to watch it all. I have been really just makin' myself at home here! Whenever Mom sit's down to eat, I go over to her and stand up on her lap and point with my paw at her food. She thinks it's cute and interprets it as , " Whatcha got there? " But what I'm actually trying to tell her is , "Gimme that!!!" Well sometimes I just like to smell what she's eating, but once in a while I'll grab it with my paw and pull it toward me for a little taste! She finds it amusing, and so far I haven't gotten in trouble for it. It's just sometimes she won't indulge me, cuz she can see my mooch potential coming out!!! Yeah, I really love this home and I'm glad I have the people that I do! Mom just cannot understand why someone else gave me away!!! (But I know she is glad that they did, otherwise we would have never found each other!) Oh, before I forget, my Mom brushed me this morning, and I absolutely loved it!! I recommend all cats to try it, it is great!!!! She brushed me because I have a lot of dandruff, we are wondering if all black cats have lots of noticeable dandruff???

My Mom is the best...

Just writing to brag about my Mom. She was going to make her bed this morning, but I was on it. Well instead of making me get up, she plopped down and joined me!!! We had a great converstion and she rubbed my belly for awhile. I almost purrred her to sleep when the little guy hopped on the bed. I let him pet me for awhile too, but when Mom got up I took off! Then she made her bed.

I feel like a superstar!!

Thanks to the catster cat, I'm feeling pretty special today!! My whole cat family received rosettes from catster. That is just so special. Thanks so much!!!! Purrrs & quiet meows.......
