Hi, my name is Ozzy. I just got the name today. I was Mister until then, but my new family didn't think it was good enough for me. I was given up by my original family, and I'll never know why. I lived at a shelter for a while, and then I was put in a small cube at Petsmart. I'm a big guy, it was pretty depressing. I was in there for 3 weeks before my family rescued me today. Mom stopped by and talked to me a few times, but I was so shy all I did was stare at her. She thought I was the most handsome guy in there! I guess Dad wasn't really planning on taking in another cat, but I mananged to pull off some last minute charm on him!! The family came in today to get more fish, and Mom brought him over. I perked up to see them, so they came in to check me out. I wouldn't get up, but Mom started rubbing my chin. Then I just couldn't help it I showed her my belly. She fell for it, and petted me. Then I got up and walked over to her face and we came nose to nose. The lady there was suprised because I never got up for anyone. I've been unhappy in that cage. So Dad came over and gave me the ole chin rub and I just put my face all over his. He was hooked!! The Mom picked me up for a few minutes and I was thrilled to have the lovin's! Anyway, they had to stick me in a box for the short trip home, but I was so nervous I tinkled from the store all the way to the car. Then I pooped too! It was really stinky, and Mom was laughing, and everyone else was about to get sick. They drove home with the windows down the whole way. Once we got there she took me out and cleaned me up good. I'm so shy that I've sought shelter in the litter box. I think I heard Mom say she's gonna attempt to give me a bath tomorrow. Hmmm, I'm not sure I know what that means??? I hope it's fun. I feel really safe with these people, but I'm still really shy. I let Mom pet me and brush me and clean me. And Dad pets me and the small person pets me too. I haven't seen too many small people before. I guess they're okay, but sometimes noisey. Well this has been a long day for me. I'm gonna get some rest and plan for a better day tomorrow.
