Thank Mew!

I just want to thank everyone who has given me one of those cakes. We tried to thank everyone personally, but we just cannot keep track! The cakes don't stay in the same order when we go to my page. So we cannot just go down the line and respond to each one. We would end up missing some and thanking some twice! Anyhow, thank you to all my friends and know that it was appreciated.

Mom made us the bestest toy!

As purr usual, we were getting kind of bored. So, Mom got out an old pair of her undies, one of those that she saves for rags. She cut a piece off. Rolled some catnip up in it. Tied it into a knot. Wet it down a bit and gave it to us. Boy oh boy did we even play with that thing!!! We took turns playing with it. Then we got so wired we had a few scraps. Then we went back to playing with it all day long. The next day, I managed to untie the knot and rubbed the cloth all over my face. The undies were washed, but I could still smell some of Mom's stink on it. And, I'm one of those cats that likes dirty underwear smells.
Mom wants to make it up again for us, but she thinks she should wait until we are acting all bored again. Plus, our catnip tub is empty. Time for a trip to the pet store!

Thinking of you today ...

Lucky, today is not special anniversary of any sort but I found myself thinking of you a lot today. I think of you EVERY day but today you were on my mind even more than usual.
Squirrel, Lobo & I miss you. You will love Kitcat when you get to meet her.

My Birthday

I would like to thank all of our friends for making my bridge birthday extra special. It is so nice to be remembered after all of this time. I know Mom and Squirrel are still missing me a lot but I'm happy to see that they are healing. We tried to thank everyone purrsonally that sent us birthday messages and gifts. Please forgive us if we missed anyone as we had a big power failure (8 hours) in the middle of Mom trying to be a good secretary to us. Also, sadly, here at the bridge, we had to prepare for the beautiful Hazel Lucy.

Christmas 2010

Hi Lucky,
I still have a very hard time visiting your page and thinking about when you passed. You were far too young and it was too sudden and you and your sister Squirrel were supposed to grow old together. I hope my Peaches is taking good care of you. I know how much you love her.
You are missed by me, Squirrel & Lobo.

My Best Day in Heaven So Far ...

I just found out that a darling little kitten was rescued. The wonderful family named her after me. Here is her page:

And, the kitty that I sent to Mom and Squirrel (Kitcat) is working out real well. She is adding the much needed joy to my family after my sudden death and the loss of Tasha the dog.

Also Squirrel, who was not feeling well, got back to full health. Just in time to avoid a trip to the vet.

All is good.

Look At Me!

I've got my new wings! Thank you Autumn.
Mom kind of didn't want me to sport new wings. She is still kind of wishing and hoping that I didn't actually leave for the bridge.
But, I think they look good on me.

Two Weeks Tomorrow

Mom is especially sad tonight. She still looks for me like my sister Squirrel does. They are both starting to realize that it is real. I am gone from this earth.

A Shock for us All

I passed away today. I was having a normal day, then, next thing I knew, I was feeling reel yucky and I pooped in Mom's bed! Then I went to the kitchen for some water and puked a bit instead and stretched out on the floor and died. Please pray for my sister Squirrel and my Mommy. They will be hurting real bad.

The Vet Said ...

I have been having runny eyes for a week now. first both, now just one. Mom was worried because she knows that taking me to the vet would be impossible. Even if she tricked me into the cat carrier, the trip would stress me terribly and any after care, like pills or eye drops would be impossible. So, while she was at the vet clinic with the dogs, she asked the vet about me and my symptoms. He is pretty sure that I have feline herpes. We both had bad URI's when Mom found us. At that time we were little enough that we did go to the vet a few times up until we got spayed. Anyhow, she asked more about it and he said it was probably okay to just wait it out and that it will probably happen over and over again in my life. He said Squirrel must have developed a resistance to it since she hasn't had any more trouble since she was a baby.
Anyone know more about it? Mom always has trouble remembering everything the vet said. But she was relieved about what he said. And, of course, when she got home I already looked better!
The pups were doing okay but Tasha is definitely getting old. She may be having the start of a spinal degeneration problem that is common with German Shepherds. If she does have that problem, we will know in 6 months or so. If that is it, she won't be with us much longer. She got medicine. She is easy to give medicine to.
