We will consider this an early Christmas.
Both Kitcat and I took turns getting some lap time this morning.
Then, we got to go out in our cat run and enjoy some fresh air. We broke a record for the warmest Dec. 4th in our area since records were kept! 13 C / 55 F
Then, Mom took Lobo for a little walk and stopped at a store on her way home and brought back a "back scratcher". It was for Mom (she cannot reach some of her itchy spots) but Kitcat thought it was for her. So she played with it and I joined her. It turned into our toy and scratcher. We will let Mom borrow it. Then, as the sun started to go down, I settled on Mom's favourite chair and Kitcat joined me. And, she actually groomed me a bit. It is usually the other way around. Me grooming the stinky girl. But this time she cleaned up my right ear and the top of my head. We then settled in for a nice long nap, together.
So, it has been a nice day for all of us.
Purrcious memories and bonding have been happening in your den, fur sure!
Tomorrow it is Dec 5th, St Nicholas Day...so you are not far off the mark having an early Christmas, MOL!
We were mild here today, too, but soon we will get the big chill again...sigh...
We love happy days like that - new toys and cuddley snuggle times. That's what life is all about!
Sounds like a great day!
It does sound like a great day!
Glad you had such a wonderful time.
what a wonderpurr way to spend time together. Mom has one too but she hasn't used it on us, think we need to check it out.
Mom has one that she uses on her clients cats when they want to be petted but won't let Mom pet them...it works that way Mom doesn't get the smacky paw.
