My Baby Sister Has a Seventh SenseMarch 13th 2012 4:14 pm[ View A Comments (8) ]
Mom plays with us whenever she can. Usually, I sleep in and Kitcat plays with her in the early morning. Later, Kitcat joins me for a nap. Then, I usually get up and get some one on one time with Mom later in the morning. Well, somehow, if Mom plays fun games with me, instead of just my usual leash walk or lap time, Kitcat senses it! If Mom throws toys for me, Kitcat comes running with her eyes still half closed and butts into our game. Today, Mom and I tried something quiet. First, we went and checked on Kitcat and she was sound asleep. So Mom and I went and started a game. She was playing with me with a nice, long, pink ribbon. There is no way Kitcat could have heard this quiet game. But somehow, she sensed it and came running and I had to share the ribbon with her.
Minko can be that way, too...then meowmy & I hear a wee squeaky mew...and yup, there he comes...doesn't want to miss anything...and then that oaf of a dog-guy will be wanting to stick his torpedo schnooter in the works, too...esp if he thinks there might be edibles involved, MOL! If you want to be alone you will just have to shut the door... I'm the same way when it comes to the treat jar rattling or a can being opened...Dad calls me "Rabbit Ears".... My mum is sneaky like that too and tries to play with Josie when I am not around but I always know - even if I am in the garden and they are indoors. It's truly a gift! Purrs Toby I think Kitcat wants to make sure you don't get any alone time - MOL! She knows all!!!!! I think we have the same sixth sense. My sister Wriggley was like that too. No fun is to be had without me enjoying it too! Plus us youngin's make things more fun and interesting..MOL MOL so she dosen't like to miss out aye!!!! I don't blame her hee hee. But I do understand how annoying it can be for you when you won't your one on one time. Ugh! Just now! I got up while Kitcat was still sleeping. We were both having a power nap together. Mom opened up the jar of catnip in complete silence to give me some for my birthday. Before I could even lick up more than a tiny bit, sleepy head came a running and butted in. How on earth did she hear that? Maybe she smelled it? Oh well, she is a cute little brat. But you sure are right about her not wanting to miss a thing. |
