It took me a few days but I caught the mouse that I was telling Mom about. I brought it up for her in the middle of the night, of course. She heard the commotion and got up and turned on a few lights in time to see it scurry behind some heavy bedroom furniture. Kitcat watched from a safe distance. Once I saw that Mom was awake and aware of the mouse, my job was done and I went to bed. She set out her trap and within a few hours, the mouse went into it. So tomorrow morning Mom will let it go outside. If it is smart, it will stay outside this time.

Your mama is awful nice to let the mousie go. He would not be so lucky here. What kind of crazy mousie would go in a house with kitties?

I think that mouse knows better than to come into your house again! Your Mom is running a "Scared Straight" program for delinquent mice!

Heeheehee Tigger! "scared Straight". That is nice that your mom let the mouse out with a warning. Me, I would have liked to keep the mouse around for entertainment and hunting practice.

Great job, Squirrel! Sigh. The most we get in our apartment are centipedes. They've already started invading and Mom still hasn't figured out where they come from.
