Arrival Story:
I found Milla on CraigsList in 2006 and adopted her from a family who had adopted her from a family that was moving and couldn't take her. I'm allergic to many cats by my Milla has never given me even a sneeze. :-)

My mama calls me her 11-year-old kitten! I can still jump with the best of 'em, and you should see me run up the stairs!! That's why mama calls me "Air Milla!" I also like to find all the nooks and crannies in the house and play hide and seek.

Summer is Here!

Hi, everybody!

I'm so glad that summer is here! Mama and Daddy open the windows and I can feel the breeze in my face! I love that! Daddy even had a big fan running the other day. It was kind of scary but the air felt nice on my fur... from a distance.

There was a lot of banging and booming a couple weeks ago, and strange lights outside. I didn't like that much, but I didn't stay under the bed all night, either. I'm no fraidy-cat!

Mama got this great box a while ago, and I've been spending a lot of my time on top of it. She's cleaned my fluff off it three times now. Doesn't she know how hard it is to deposit fluff like that? She must think I have fluff to spare or something! Anyway, I like my box. It's the perfect size where I can get on top of it and still lay sprawling out and not fall off. Perfect!

Sorry to say, that's about all the news I have. I know it's been a long time, but there's not much new going on. But that's okay. I like routine. :-)

It's been a while

Hi, Everybody!
My mama has been busy writing her own blog and won't let me near the computer! :-) But that's okay... not that much is new. I've been runing around the house and playing like I always do. :-)

Christmas was SO fun with all the boxes and paper! Mama didn't put bows on the presents so I didn't have much to chew on. I did get a little nibble in while Daddy was wrapping presents, though. ;-) I helped both Mama and Daddy wrap. I'm a good little helper!

My favorite time of day is nighttime when I get to sleep with mama and Daddy. I like tunneling under the covers and sleeping on their pillows.

Mama's favorite time of day is when I flopsy when she gets home. I lay on the floor and she pets me, and sometimes I like it so much I'll flop and roll and flop and roll some more, depending on how much I've missed her. Usually I can keep myself pretty busy during the day, but sometimes I miss having someone to play with and to tell about my day.

I guess that's all the mews for now... happy 2009!

Happy New Year

Yes, I know that it's February, but I couldn't get that mama of mine to write in my diary!

Well, we moved to a new house and I have more room to explore and a Daddy to love me! I moved to the house and adjusted really well – Mama was so happy that I didn’t hide and I kept eating and drinking and stuff. It seemed like they were really busy all the time, but that gave me the day to attend to my new duties – I’m the Neighborhood Watch! I can tell you everything that’s going on in the ‘hood! There are a couple other kitties in the neighborhood... Mama doesn’t let me outside so I only see them through the windows. They’re not very nice. :-( They come into MY yard and up to MY window! How dare they?? Boy, would I like to show them a thing or two!

Mama and Daddy went away for a couple weeks in November to get married, whatever that means. They had a really nice lady come to visit me every day and make sure I had food and water. She gave me plenty of pets and playtime and she let me sit on her lap. Oh, and Christmas was REALLY fun! Last year Mama didn’t decorate or anything... THIS year I had bows to chew on, ornaments to bat at, and was I ever in Paper Heaven! Oh, the sound and sensation of paper!!! Did I mention I love paper? Between wedding gifts and Christmas gifts, there was always paper of some sort to lay on and tunnel under. Boy, was that fun!

Things have seemed to calm down a lot. I’m disappointed that so many of the boxes have gone away. I loved to climb to the highest box – almost to the ceiling - and perch there! But they’re mostly gone now. Even without the boxes, I really love my new home and having two people to love me. And I have very important jobs around the house and a full schedule! First I have to get them out of bed in the morning, and then I have to sit on the heat vent to make sure Mama’s not too warm. She doesn't like the heat blowing on her. I watch Daddy do his stretching, and sometimes I’ll test shower water to make sure it’s wet enough. I especially have to watch Mama when she’s getting ready in the morning. I sit outside the bathroom and make sure she stays on task, then check out what Daddy is having for breakfast. After that, it’s guarding the house and the neighborhood, and a full agenda of naps, playing, and patrolling while Mama and Daddy are gone to work. I don’t know what they’d do if I weren’t there to do all that work for them while they’re gone!!

Well, Mama says I have to wrap up now. I wish she’d let me use the computer so I wouldn’t have to wait for her, but I think she’s afraid I’ll get litter in the keyboard. Silly Mama!

Until next time,
