Arrival Story:
We found her brother Apollo at the adoption days event and they wouldn't let us adopt him without his sister. We didn't really want a girl so we thought about it for a week and at the end of the week we were very suprised that the sibling group was still available. So we took them home. They were my mother's day present!

Bio:
Venus is a very vocal cat! Any suggestions as to how to shut her up?

Venus' Cancer

Venus was diagnosed with Breast Cancer

We found a lump. It got larger and harder. She started sitting funny like it was in her way. She never complained or acted any different than usual. It didn't seem to bother her much, but we were concerned and took her to the doc. The doc wanted to test her as soon as possible for an agressive type of breast cancer and sure enough that's what it was. She removed the tumor and Venus had to wear a cone for awhile so she wouldn't eat her stitches. She really didn't like that cone at all! It was in her way and she couldn't do much without help. That's not good for an independant cat! It drove her nuts. The cone is off now and the site has healed. The doc says to keep and eye on her cause it could come back. Please pray for Venus so that the cancer will not return. She is the only little girl that I have. Thank you!
