My husband was walking across the apt. complex late one night, half asleep. Went straight to bed and woke up the next morning with a tiny black kitten in his arms. The door was shut and locked and he had no idea how the kitten got in. We think he followed him in. Anyway, he put the cat outside and called me who told him to go get him immediately before he ran off. He'd taken a shower before calling me and was sure the cat was gone. He checked outside and sure enough there he was just waiting to be let back in. He brought him to me and said, "Max meet Mommy, Mommy meet Max!" Max had feline leukemia. We nursed him back to health and he's doing well, except for the occasional throwing up episodes.
