Birthday: April 30th 2007 Coloration: Orange & White Tabby Arrival Story: Three 4-day old kittens has to go to the Bridge today. A n elderly lady called our Mama because she had found a litter of 5 kittens & their Mama under her porch. This lady didn't want the kitties there but out Mama convinced her to let the kitties live there until out Mama could catch all of them & bring them home. Mama got to her house 24 hrs. after she called. Mama kitty moved them to a box in the lady's carport. Food & water & towels were left for them. The lady went out & refilled the food bowl.
Our Mama came back 2 days later (today) to bring more food & peeked in the box... there were only 3 kittens left & they were cold, wet from their own urine & breathing very shallow.
Mama kitty appeared to abandoned them.
The 3 kittens were so very cold to touch.
Our Mama took them right away, got them to take a little fluid, warmed them up & worked
with them all day..
things looked better but a while but then the kittens started getting worse.
Our Mama rushed them to the Vet & the news wasn't good. Our Mama really likes the Vet as he tries everything he can to save animals 1st.
Our Mama called all kinds of rescues (as she's in rescue herself) looking for a nursing mama for hte kittens - No luck... no one to feed every 2 hrs
Mama has lots of animals at home & a little 3yo boy plus does rescue transports all weekends.
Even her little boy was trying to help bottle feed the babies & keep them warm...
Mama is so sad that they didn't thrive & she tried so hard to give them a chance..
They were all orange Tabbies.
We didn't even get a photo of them things happened so fast.
Mama is naming them Abby, Andi & Ali since no furbaby should die nameless Forums Motto: Spay & Neuter your pets I've Been On Catster Since:
