Arrival Story:
I wanted to adopt 2 cats after my beloved Tiger died. I first met a pair of declawed girls who were very pretty, but not very sociable. Just downstairs from them were Bax and Darj -- attentive, playful and sociable. They picked me!!
Bio:
Bax apparently lived with other animals before being surrendered to the Humane Society -- dogs, fish, birds, cats. He was adopted about a year before by someone else who apparently didn't have the landlord's permission, so he went BACK to the Humane Society. He'd been there a few months when I came along. When he got to my home, he took a walk around the place to check it out, then settled right down on the sofa like he'd always lived there. He is the mellowest cat on earth!
