Arrival Story:
A friend of mine had lost one of her cats and we had been visiting the SPCA and Animal Control looking for him. One day while looking in the adoption cages at animal control I saw this little sweetie, she was such a doll but I knew someone else would adopt her. Then a woman came in and looked at her, she proceeded to tell me how her last cat had jumped off her balcony the day before and died and she thought this one would be a good replacement for it. I just had a bad feeling about someone who could be so callus about loosing an animal so I said "OH you can't adopt her because my friend is, she just went to go get someone"! Winky (they had been calling her Eyeball there!) came home with me that day and another kitty JJ went with my friend Jo.

Bio:
Winky only has one eye, she lost the other to an infection as a tiny kitten. I am not sure if my husband named her Winky because of her one eye or because we are Harry Potter fans!
