indoors Arrival Story: Well, we were looking for a new pet... I really waned a dog, but we just weren't ready yet. So we went for something a little easier: a kitty! We went to the local vet's office, and they said that they had heard of a family who's cat had kittens, and they didn't want them. So, we went to look. Cloudy was the last one there, the runt of the litter...so we just had to take her! When we took her for a check-up she had eye infections, was flea and worm infested, and had upper-respiratory problems. But, we nursed her back to health. She's always been a bit scared around strangers, especially men, but with her loved ones, she's the most affectionate cat in the world. She will nuzzle my face until I get up if I'm crying, and she loves to watch me do any 'interesting' activities. I named her CloudyElizabeth because of her unique white 'cloud'' spot on her back, and her Queenish attitude. She is really a very sweet cat. The ultimate pussy cat! She's my little girl. "Oh my. My Mom didn't give me my custom Fancy Feast wet food today! She said she's all out, but it makes me sad. Dry food is sooo boring. Well, I'm adjusting really well to our new house, because as long as my people are fine, I'm okay."
"Mommy did a Christmas photoshoot with me today, and she only got a couple of good pictures. I DO NOT like posing, and hate wearing costumes. Bah, Humbug...er Hum-cat!
*One thing I, Queen Cloudy, love about Christmas time is when the whole family is together, and I can curl up on my mom's lap, while she drinks hot chocolate on the couch, looking wistfully at the glimmering Christmas tree; happiness is just that for me, the cat.*"
"Yesterday, Scampurr and I had to go to the vet. She(and maybe me too) has tapeworms, and I have a mild eye infection, but we're getting better. I was a little nervous, but as long as Momma's there, I'm pretty ok. The vets had to try to give Scamp medication three times. Once, with just the pill, the second time with wet food, and the third(and final) with liquid medication put down her throat. She was freaking out so much that everyone felt sorry for her, even me. I, on the other paw, love wet food, and gobbled it up. I hardly tasted the meds. We're on our way to getting better, and the vet said we were well-loved and overall very healthy cats. She also complemented the Blue Buffalo food Mommy gives us. Yay!"
