It's near Charly's birthday

Mum just noticed that the 19th was Charly's birthday, she doesn't remember it very well as he left our home before the 2nd one. He was a pale ginger cat (I think the US kitties call them orange cats) and mum thought he was the colour of barly so he was Charly Barley. He came from a farm in Glostershire. It was after I left that mum was visiting a friend who was also without a cat. They both went to the farm to see the kittens and each chose one. Mum hadn't been planing to get a cat and had to drive back to Manchester with out a proper carrier, Charly was in a big box with holes and was poking his paw out all the time. He was taken to the vet to get the operation and be checked out (mostly OK but did have lots of ear mites). Even though he had been operated he still thought he was a tom cat and stayed out all night. He missed comming to breakfast a couple of times then around Valentine's day he just did not come back at all. Mum and her kids looked all round the streets and in the empty house next door but he was not found. A few years later mum saw a pale ginger cat a few streets away and hopes it was Charly and that he found a good furever home (this was before microchips like Shaylee has were common)

Catser plus

Mum got Catser puls for Shaylee and it turns out I get it too, so there may be some changes but there won't lots of picture as I am an angel allready. I do hope mum will find a few more as it is anoying to look at a photo book and find nothing new.
For now I got some floating angel kittys, cute aren't they

Furrfriend Tom

When my pawrents moved from Cambridge to Manchester Dad had to go becuse he started his new job and Mum didn't want to be on her own without him as I had a baby sister and was soon to have a baby brother too. They decided to rent a place in Manchester untill they bought a new house for us. Unfortunatly they were not allowed to have any pets, not even a beautiful queen like me. I went to stay with Tom and his family.
Tom is a saved kitty as he was found on the road and had been injured by a car, he was only a kitten. His Mum and Dad took him to the vet and he recovered from his broken bones but allways had a crooked leg. Where he came from was never found so he got a furrever home. He was still a young cat when I visted, I was probably well grown up and getting mature, but we got on fine, sharing the house and garden (climbing trees) and also the airing cupboard. He would sit on the top shelf above the hot water tank, I thought he should have a bit of respect for a well grown mature kitty like me and one day I really had to tell him. We shouted and cuffed (sorry we worried his mum and dad) but he got the message and then I sat in the warmest place. I lived there for a few months in 1989/90 and then I went back to my Mum and Dad to help in the new house and with the new baby. Tom also got to help two boys grow up and lived untill about 2006
His family have two other kittys now but that is another story

Linnet

Mum has just told me to look out for Linnet as she has just joined us here. She belonged to the sister of my friend Tom's mum. Apparently she has been ailing for some time so she is welcome here. We are sad for her Mum.

Sorry not to have written recently. Must tell you about Tom but now I'll see if I can find Linnet and Tom.

TsaTsa & Poppy

There are lots of cat that don't get Caster pages so I thought you might like to hear about some of them here. That is why I called my diary "Cats Cats Cats"

I want to tell you about TsaTsa first, She and her sister are black Kitties and are about 8, they own my mums nephew(Poppy) and neice(TsaTsa). TsaTsa's mum was always very proud of her (the name has comes from Tsarennia (Russian Queen)) but Poppy became a family cat. The are both traveling cats and go on holiday to the Islands in the Hebrides etc. After getting the Ferry back to Scotish mainland one of them had made a mess of the cat carrier so the family stoped to clean it out. While doing this one of the Kittens escaped and hid in a pipe that was by the road and took soooooo long to be coxed out. The Mum of the family had 500 miles to drive (after the ferry) 4 kids under 10 and poor frightened Kitten to rescue. Of course they stayed there by the road untill they got the kitten back out and all got home safely again.
TsaTsa & Poppy went to a cottage near Edinburgh for the Whit week (Spring break?) this year with most of the family, but not TsaTsa's mum. On the last day TsaTsa was missing! 2 of the boys were up all night looking for her in fields and up the hill side and everywhere they could think of. Come the next day the family had to leave (school/work etc) and they were distraught about TsaTsa, they asked the people near there to look for her. When TsaTsa's mum got home and heard what had happened she made her Dad drive her back there 400 miles each way. She called out for TsaTsa and TsaTsa came to her mum! wow Poor TsaTsa she got back to the cottage and found no one there so was on her own for days.
I am so glad I am not going to meet TsaTsa yet as she is loved by her family espically her mum, she is back with them and her sister.

Where did it go?

I tried to start a diary a few week ago but I don't know what happened to it. As I am a cat from the 80's I am not always good with the tencnology.
I had started it because I got a rosette from Bear(I my Memory Always) to say I had been chosen as "Angel of the Week for May 21". I am so purrrlsed I didn't even know they had angel of the weeks when I got that.
If you haven't read/looked at Bear(In my Memory Always) page you should as she is really wonderful cat that helped her mum such a lot, and she is Tortoiseshell too.
I will write again soon
