Coloration: Tabby
Likes: My back garden. Poking any small things e.g bugs, ear plugs, pen. Playing with dog stepsister Phoebe.
Pet-Peeves: Spotty cat in the neighbourhood - he bullied me 2 weeks ago and I gave out this wimpish cry, backed up against my garden shed as he hissed over me. Luckily my heroist dog sister Phoebe came to my rescue and barked that spotty thing off OUR garden
Favorite Toy: Laser pen, pen, noisy mouse toy, Phoebe's bushy tail
Favorite Nap Spot: My cushioned basket, grandpa's computer chair
Favorite Food: Felix pouches and Phoebe's doggy food - I usually manage a mouthful before mommies catch me
Skills: I am very good at doing naughty things behind Mommies back when they are not looking. And act all innocent or that it doesn't matter even when caught in the act. I can drink a lot of water at one time
Dwells:
indoors and outdoors
Arrival Story: I visited a household advertising kittens for sale in the local newspaper in Oct 2006. My girlfriend was particularly fond of the 2 kittens stumbling shyly in the kitchen. I was more drawn to the more fully grown curious tabby, he was making an awful lot of noises in the kitchen.
He was playful and had this cheeky look in his eyes.
Tinker was not wormed or vaccinated. We were told that he was 2 months old but he was clearly older than that, the vet reckons he was 4 months so I gave him a birthday of 16th June (10 days before mine). He had worms and flea despite looking healthy externally.
Within days all these ailments were dealt with and he has always been a relaxed, calm and easygoing chap.
For the first few months he lived in a London flat with me. At times he behaved badly there but I reckon it's because there weren't much for him to play with in the flat. Once I've moved back to the coastal Bournemouth he is alot more relaxed. He loves our garden, the bugs and foxes that come with it, his dog sister Phoebe and the 3 other people who give him plenty of attention.
I am pleased that I chose Tinker, he has a wonderful character and has this naughty side in him. We can't help but to adore this furry fellow

Mommies brought chocolates and thank you card to the neighbours who saved me from the tree. Beryl & Bruce were at home and very pleased to see me back on all four of my feet hehe. I was so excited in their garden, running mad and jumping up their bench. I feel relaxed there, as if it is my own garden...
Jakey tagged me in the "Tag! You're It!" Game (rules below).
Seven Random Facts about Me:
1) My teeth are white and healthy because my Mom does this annoying thing called 'brushing'
2) I love playing chase with my sister Phoebe, click on our video on my profile and rate it when you have time
3) Mommies have hamsters, once I caught one of them in my mouth for fun but didn't bite it. Mom went mad so I dropped her quickly. She was unhurt and gave birth to 6 pups, all of them survived.
4) My back legs feel much better these days. 2 days ago I jumped for the first time since 'the incident on the tree' (read previous entries for details)
5) Those anti-flea drops (frontline and strong hold) makes me blink for ages when Mom put them on my neck. I blink and blink blink blink...
6) I purr for no particular reason when I lay in bed with Mommies
7) My favourite nap spot is the flower pot in the garden. Grandad emptied it specially for me to sunbathe in
The "Tag! You're It!" Rules:
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write in their own diary about their seven things and the rules of the "Tag! You're it!" game. You also need to choose seven other cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave each cat you tagged a comment (Catster Paw Mail) that you tagged them and instructions to read your diary for details of game play. Have fun tagging and meeting new kitties (hint: check recently updated diaries to find some kitties who haven't been tagged that might have fun playing the game.)!!!

It has been 10 days since I was saved from my neighbour's tree. I was dicharged from the vet clinic 4 days post injury after x-ray. My pelvic x ray was fine, but they had to put me under general anaesthetic briefly to have that taken.
I am still having daily painkillers and I still waddle when I walk. I haven't been able to jump properly since the incident. Today was my first follow up appointment and Kate the vet said I probably had obturator nerves compression where my pelvis was stuck for so long. She joked that it's an injury cows usually get when they slip and land on a funny position.
Mom got worried as I may have permanent weakness in my hindlegs if my nerves don't regenerate. I hope I can jump again.
Anyway, it was not so bad staying in with moms, granddad and phoebe. Phoebe tries to play with me like she did in our video on the website, but honestly I can't keep up with her at the moment... just wait till made a full recovery Phoebe!!
