indoors Arrival Story: Stormy was a semi-feral cat who was trapped in a garage by a friend of mine at work. She was tame enough to pet but picking her up was a whole different matter. We managed to get her into a large cardboard box, which I held closed while we transported her some 15 miles to where I live. Upon release she took off and hid under the bed for three days straight. coming out only to use the litter box and eat. She has always been a little thing, weighing in at around 9 pounds. When I brought Chessie home about a year later she hissed and spit at him but soon her maternal instincts took over and she started mothering him.
