Arrival Story:
Stormy was a semi-feral cat who was trapped in a garage by a friend of mine at work. She was tame enough to pet but picking her up was a whole different matter. We managed to get her into a large cardboard box, which I held closed while we transported her some 15 miles to where I live. Upon release she took off and hid under the bed for three days straight. coming out only to use the litter box and eat. She has always been a little thing, weighing in at around 9 pounds. When I brought Chessie home about a year later she hissed and spit at him but soon her maternal instincts took over and she started mothering him. Now they are the best of friends and play and sleep together.
