Coloration:
Brown Tabby

Likes:
Whiskas salmon treats (otherwise known as fishies), rubber bands, paperclips, Christmas tree ornament hangers, making sure we get out of bed as early as possible on the weekends, licking toes, gnawing on doorstops

Pet-Peeves:
Being barred from the forbidden bedroom of mystery, sharing, being tricked into the cat carrier with fishies (generally having his love of fishies exploited to get him places he doesn't want to go)

Favorite Toy:
Anything feathery and on a string, bells and other jingly things

Favorite Nap Spot:
On top of whatever's sitting on the floor, sometimes on the couch, the round chair, or the computer chair. He gets around

Favorite Food:
Whiskas salmon treats - can hear the bag rattling from 3 rooms away and will commence wailing. Other fish flavored treats to a lesser extent. Garbage and nonedible items like rubber bands, shoelaces, wooden tanks

Skills:
Can hide and retrieve ornament hangers from a rift in the time-space continuum

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
Feldspar picked us. We went to pick out a kitten from a woman who ran a cat rescue out of her house. As we looked over the kitties, Feldspar climbed up into Dave's lap and stayed there the rest of the visit. When we came back a few days later to bring him home, he strolled right up into the cat carrier because he just knew we were there for him.

Bio:
Feldspar is your classic North American Dumpster Tabby. Everyone has had or knows someone who had a cat that looks just like him. Feldspar was diagnosed about 2-3 years ago with cardiomyopathy. So far it doesn't seem to have slowed him down any, but we keep a pretty close eye on him. The vet asked if he appears "exercise-intolerant" - Not remotely!

Forums Motto:
You can food anything if you just eat it
