Meowmy Yelled at Me!

Dear Diary,

Meowmy yelled at me—twice! I had been eating from the food dispenser, when I started to heave. She commanded in a strong voice, “Not in the food!” I didn’t move and continued to heave. So she yelled at me, “NOT IN THE FOOD!” I moved just enough that I missed the food and grazed the outside of the dispenser. Then I went to the window ledge behind the couch, and I started to heave again. She yelled at me, “NOT ON THE COUCH!” I moved just enough that I missed her stuffed snake along the top of the couch, but I got the side of the couch and the floor! That’ll teach her not to yell at me!

Sincerely,
Belle

I am so sorry for you darling sweetness.
Shame on your meowmy. She shouldn't disturb you when you heave, really.
Heaving is so unpleasant for us too. And we need to let be.

I sometimes eat something and them vomit wherever I am.
I do it seldom, but sometimes it just happens. I just can't hold it. Only once I managed to do it in my litter-box.

So, my meowmy just watches quietly, comforts me and then strokes me and cleans the mess.
She knows that we don't like messing either, but even if we are healthy, something can touch our 'wrong throat' during eating, and it's our best protection to heave straight away, rather then to get an unwanted particle stuck in the wrong place.
Meowmy always says that it's not my fault and tells me that she is sorry.

We wish for you to watch how you are eating. I've learned that if I eat slowly - I don't heave.
