Hello World!

Hi Catsters! First of all, thanks to all of you who wished my brother Raymond and I a happy 4th birthday today. We are lucky to have so many good catster friends and we really appreciate all of you!

We haven't been on Catster for a couple months. It was two months ago today that our brother Alex went to the bridge, and it has been really difficult for my Mom to rejoin the Catster community in his absence. Harder that she thought it would be.

Alex was a huge part of our lives (we really miss his voice, he was so chatty!) and he was really the "alpha cat". He was number one at home and here on catster-he was the voice of our family online. Now that he is gone, it's difficult for my Mom to type for him.

Raymond and I, however, are ready to be more active here on Catster. We are so glad that all of your rosies and gifts and pmails got my Mom out of her funk and back onto Catster typing for Raymond and I!

So, thanks to all of you. We all still miss Alex, but we realize it's time for us to rejoin the fun here on Catster! Purrs and love, Busby

Hello Catsters!

I haven't meowed in awhile so I thought I would wish everyone a happy almost Labor day.

My brother Ray has written about Alex in his diary today, so I won't repeat everything he said. I miss Alex. I have been a little down for the past couple weeks, and my Moms think it is because I am missing my big brother. I have no one to headbutt anymore! I used to love to corral Alex all around the kitchen at breakfast and dinner time. I can't do that to Raymond, he is much faster than Alex was.

I have a new Labor Day page. Dr Weiner thinks it is an homage to him, but it's not!

Has anycat noticed that our Shoutboxes are gone? We went to their homepage, and it is down. We tried Shoutbox pro, but our passwords didn't work there. We are hoping Calvin has some insight for us. We miss our shoutboxes!

Happy Labor Day (early) to all of you!

Hello my homies. Long time no meow. I was tagged this morning by Ray aka RayPod. I have to list five fabulous facts about myself. Hmmm, only five? I could go on and on. Oh well, here they are:

1) I love to eat wheat grass. When my Moms bring it home from the farmer's market on Saturday I am waiting for them at the door.

2) I watch golf on tv. The little white ball is mesmerizing.

3) I pee in one cat box and then leap over into the other cat box and poop in it.

4) I headbonk Alex all the time and when I do I knock him over.

5) I have a high pitched feminine voice.

I'll be tagging my five pals sometime over the weekend. Purrs! Busby

Hey there Catsters! My page is new and improved for the month of May. I hope you all like it. Cinco de Mayo is a big holiday here in California. We like to celebrate at my house with some chicken fajitas and some Corona beer! (well, only the chicken for me...)

My Mom has to renew our Catster Plus subscription tomorrow. Can you believe we have only been on Catster for one year? It seems like we have had some of you cats as friends forever. (and I mean that in a GOOD way!)

My family wants to give a shout out to ROCKY ANN for giving us the gift of Catster Plus one year ago on May 3rd. Viva RA!

Springtime Fresh!

Hi gang!

My page just got spiffed up for Spring. You may wonder what that big building is that is on my page background.

That building is the old Lake County Court House in Crown Point, Indiana. Crown Point is where my Mom is from. The old Court House is a historical landmark, built in 1878. Just about a block down the street is the jail that John Dillinger escaped from in 1934 and stole the sheriff's car to make his getaway. My Moms will be in Crown Point next month to visit my Grandmother. While they are there, Johnny Depp will be in town filming a movie about Dillinger. Kinda cool!

Otherwise, Crown Point is not very exciting. My Mom is excited about seeing her family and some of her high school friends, but I know she will be happy to get back home to me and my brothers!

Hey Look Me Over

Hey Catsters,

My Mom tricked out my page today, along with my brother Alex's. Hondo's Mom had pmailed and offered to jazz up Raymond's page. She also send us an email with some catster code info. My Mom pondered it and scratched her head a few times. Then we heard from Calvin. His Mom sent us another email with more HTML code info. ( five pages worth!) After some more pondering and head scratching, my Mom put together a couple of beginner-rookie-wet behind the ears Easter pages for me and Alex. We hope you like them!

Thanks Hondo's Mom and Calvin's Mom for helping us with HTML. I think that stand for Hard To Master Language!

Tagging back!

Hi Cats! I was tagged a few days ago by my pal Shortstop. Today I am going to tag seven other cats!

Wally
Queenie
Cybil
Sky
Shep McCormick
Fluff
Stitch

The rules of this tag game are flexible! You can either name 7 random facts about yourself, or you can make a list of 7 anythings! For example, I listed my seven catster-type heroes. (see my diary entry previous to this one) Ko listed her seven catster man-stallions. You can list your seven favorite foods, seven favorite toys, whatever you want. Then please tag seven other catsters via pmail or rosette and explain the rules of the game to them. *if you have all ready been tagged, then I guess you can either play again or not, your choice! I was Tagged by Shortstop!

Greetings and salutations fellow Catsters! I was tagged by SHORTSTOP. Shortstop is a wonderful rainbow bridge kitty who lived up in the snow country of Northern California.

I am going to put a bit of a spin on the rules of this tag game. Instead of naming 7 random facts about me, I am going to list my 7 catster-type heroes.

1) I'm a rescue kitty! My Mom's adopted me and my brother (and honest to goodness litter mate) Raymond from PACIFIC SIAMESE RESCUE. The foster humans at PSR are my heroes!

2) My Vet! DR HANNAH GOOD DVM. Dr Good is a come-to-the-house vet, and I love her!

3) My Mom! I have two Moms. Mom #1 is my hero, because she is a public health nurse and works for the County of Santa Cruz. Her job is with THE HOMELESS PERSONS HEALTH PROJECT.

4) My Mom gets a lot of support for her homeless client's pets from the SANTA CRUZ SPCA. Lisa at the SPCA donates food and medicine for my Mom's client's pets.

5) Mom #2 works for NIRVANA CANDLES. The owner's of the company are good friends to our family. They have made it possible for my Mom to do her work from home, so she is with us nearly everyday while she works. We love that!

6) My sister TOOT SUITE. Raymond and I came to live with Toot Suite when she was 20 years old. She tolerated two little rambunctious kitty boys as best she could, and when she had enough of our frolicking, she let us know! She was the best big sister two kittens could ever have.

7) My big brother ALEX. Most of you know Alex. He is 22 years old and one of the oldest cats on Catster. He is a pretty cool old guy. I hope I am just like Alex when I grow up!

Now I have to think of seven other catsters to tag...that will be in a future diary entry. Purrs to my catster-type heroes!

More Changes?

Wow, I just logged on to Catster and the homepage has changed again! Just some subtle changes but noticeable to anycat who logs on daily. Those high tech cats down at HQ! They are always up to something!

Hope all you cats are well. Things here in Capitola are wet and wild, as my brother Raymond mentioned in his blog today. We just had lunch and looked around for our usual sunny spots, but they aren't there! The weatherman says we may not have any sunny spots for the rest of the week. Ugh!

My M has an eye doctor appointment tomorrow. Nothing too serious. There is something going on with one of her eyes that she wants checked out. Otherwise it is just the yearly visit. Her Grandmother and Mother both have glaucoma, so she gets her eyes checked regularly. As long as she can see where the cat food container is, it's all good!

Samoa Says : We are Famous

Or purrhaps, infamous?

In today's S AMOA SAYS , Samoa wrote about a web site called HELLO KITTY HELL. Seems that the guy who runs that site contacted Rocky Ann about using some of our photos wearing the Hello Kitty head. You know, a bunch of us HK Fan Club kitties formed the Cathood of the Traveling Hello Kitty Head. It was another one of Rocky Ann's cool ideas. Well - guess whose photo (besides Samoa's, of course) is on the site? ME! Yep, that's me, the sixth cat from the top. You will recognize me from my terrified looking blue eyes. Pretty cool, huh?

Once again, without Samoa's meowing about it, I probably wouldn't have ever known that I was branching out all over the internet. She really does have her paw on the pulse of Catster.

Hmmm, maybe I will go google myself.
