Being alone. Doll Clothes & buggy rides
Favorite Nap Spot:
Unfortunately, the driveway. It got him run over at 5 years old.
Farm cat - table scraps
I got him from a barn cat's litter of kittens.
He was my very first cat. He was laying in the driveway one day.
My aunt did not see him, & backed over him.
Grampa put him to sleep. His back was broken.
He was a very gentle & laid back cat.

I was Mom's very first cat.
She had me at the same time she had Brownie.
She found me in front of the barn. Mom had just chased us away.
My 2 sisters teased me about it later. said I was dumb to get caught.
OH NO I WASN'T! I saw how the dog, Brownie got fed & petted & loved.
Once mom got me, I got treated that way too.
My sisters had to live on mice & such. Though mom's grampa gave them some milk in the evening, they didn't get fed, or petted.
Oh yeah, the baby clothes. & the buggy rides. Well, I could have done without the clothes of course, but Joyce was 4 years younger then mom, & it didn't hurt me any.
I kind of liked riding in the buggy. Mom says I purred. I could see a lot when I sat up & looked out.
Mom's aunt didn't mean to run over me. She just didn't see me.
I do remember that moment of pain though, & dragging myself away.
Her grampa was very gentle when he took me out to the woods.
He put me in a box with an old towel, & held a rag that smelled bad over my face. I just went to sleep.
I woke here on the Rainbow Bridge. It's really nice here.
We play with all the other animals.
Mom's pet chickens, Apache & Penney are here. They were from the farm too.
So is GrayLag, the Gander goose. He's sorry he was so mean back then, but he was protecting his goslings. He didn't know any better then.
