I think I have a weight problem

I don't like to admit that I have gained a few extra pounds over the years, but I have. Matt got a new bed and it sits up really high. I was having trouble jumping up on the bed. Mom put a box beside the bed. I didn't want to admit it, but it helps a lot. Now I can jump on the box and get on the bed without being embarassed. It's tough being big.

TJ made this look so easy

I saw my little brother, TJ sleeping in this basket. It looks so warm and cozy. I keep forgetting I weigh a little more than he does. I did manage to get myself in the basket.

I figured it out!

I have been wondering why things have been looking strange around the house. There are boxes everywhere and everyone is going through stuff and packing it away. I overhead the humans say that we are moving the first of June. I remember when we moved 4 years ago and it was scary. I learned to love this old house, but now we will have to get used to another house. I wonder what it will be like, I sure hope I can still look out the windows, and sleep in the sun. Gotta go for now, trying to hear more news.

My humans

My best friend is my human brother, Matt. We do everything together, sleep, play, eat. I get scared sometimes, though, when Matt goes outside, I don't know if he is coming back soon or not. I start whining and go and get something out of his room, usually socks. I bring them into the dining room and sit waiting for him to come back. I also love to sit on flip flops.

Trees in the House???

I cannot believe my mom, she drug this huge tree into the house and put it in the dining room. It is just sitting there, I can't imagine why she would want a tree in the house, there are plenty outside. I just had to investigate this new addition to the house.

Here goes Matt again, he thinks I want to exercise and wrestle all the time. I'm in a predicament now, but I'll get out of it in a minute.

Matt was acting crazy again, no really he has been sick and I decided to make him feel better by sleeping with him on the couch. He was hamming it up for the picture but I really just wanted to sleep. I do need my beauty sleep!

Matt is my human, we have been together for almost 9 years. He does crazy things, today he was telling everyone that me and him are number 1!

Man, I'm tired!

It has been a rough few weeks, mom had surgery on her feet and has been driving around the house in a strange contraption that has two big wheels, she also walks with two metal sticks that clank and make her stumble. The picture of me asleep at my mom's feet shows how tired I am. It is hard work taking care of humans when they are hurt.
