Arrival Story:
Baby Kitty was originally my boyfriend's (now husband's) roommate's kitten. The roommate spent most of his time at his girlfriend's house, so we ended up being the ones to take care of Baby Kitty. After about 6 months, he decided that Baby Kitty should be my cat, and I completely agreed. :)

Bio:
Baby Kitty was always a very healthy, active kitty up until November 2007. I noticed that one side of her face looked slightly swollen, but it was hard to tell because of her long fur. I took her to the vet, and the vet found that she had an abcessed tooth. We were hoping the swelling on her cheek was from the tooth, but the vet tested a tissue sample just to be safe. Unfortunately, the sample tested positive for cancer. Over the next 2 1/2 months the tumor grew quite aggressively, and Baby Kitty was obviously no longer in good health. On February 13, 2008, we had to unfortunately make the decision to have the vet help her pass on because her health was so bad, and nothing could be done for her. We miss her SO MUCH.
