Arrival Story: She was an outside cat in our neighborhood that we began feeding. We thought she was feral because she would run anytime we were outside or even looked out the window at her. She was very scared of us. After about 4 months of feeding, she gradually would come within a few feet of us and one day when I placed her food outside for her, I sat down about a foot away from her dish and she came right up to me. She started rubbing into my legs and purring like crazy. She allowed me to pet her and I knew then she definitely was NOT feral, just a very scared kitty. About a week after that, I was slowly able to get her closer to our back door until I was able to get her into the house. One day she came in and never looked back, I closed the door behind her and she was ours ever since.
