Gray Tabby

Dental floss, anything that moves. Taking walks outdoors with his big brother Bow. Rolling on his back in the sand. Laying motionless on his back and being dragged through the soft sand by his harness.

Vacuum, thwarted escape attempts, dogs with big noses

Favorite Toy:
Dental floss, draw strings, fly swatters, there also is a piece of driftwood that washed up on the shore. Sparky likes to stretch out on it and use it as a scratching post, it's a must scratch stop!!

Favorite Nap Spot:
Sister's bed, on top of his sister's shoes, his pet transporter, back of a chair

Favorite Food:
Purina Indoor Cat

Opening closed doors/escape artist, nose boxing, and many more

Arrival Story:
I was asked to bring Sparky to the shelter for a friend. My friend's handicap no longer allowed him the ability to take care of Sparky. Sparky won over my affection followed closely by the entire family. Sparky found a new home.

I got the "diabetes" 2 years ago :( My Dad gives me shots of insulin 2 times a day, EVERY day. I don't like needles but I do like the treats that follow! Felis domesticus

I like...: chase bugs around and eat them. My favorite's are Canadian Soldiers and big moths. I like to chase my Dad around the house trying to get the string that he drags behind him. I like to walk on the beach and sniff seashells and clams. I like to provoke my brother Bow. I like to eat grass and chase chipmunks and squirrels. I like to drink water out of my brother Bow's huge dog bowl. I like to hide when company / strangers come into my house. I like to get my belly scratched and I like full body kitty massages.

It's that time of year again, woohoo. The big , winged, flying, tasty, buggies are here. Mayfly time, aka Canadian Soldier, yummeee!!!

I can gobble these down, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any time in between.

They come at night, invading our shore, attracted by lights they cover the deck, the side of the house, the ground , they are all over. I can barely keep up.

I'm a nose licker too!

I know, I said I like to bite noses, but I've come to like given em a lick now and then too. Bow, he's bite worthy, but when it comes to my Dad I like to lick his nose. I like to sneak up on him while he's sleeping. I do this as early morning as I can. He seems to be sleeping soundly and paying absolutely no attention to my needs. I get awful hungry by morning and no one seems to care all that much. Now how in the world can they care when they are sleeping, this seems to be the real problem. So it's my job to make sure everyone is awake and aware of my need to feed!!!

I like to lick the end of my Dad's nose. It seems to wake him up every time and sooner or later he gives in, gets up, and gives me a little bit to eat. He is soooooooo easy.

Just remember,

Lick em like you like em!!

I bit my brother on the nose and I think I like it.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love my big bro Bow, but sometimes he gets on my nerves. Everykitty and I suspect doggy needs their space. I have this personal space violating range of about two feet. You enter you could get bit, enter at your own risk. Bow=repeat space violator. I have always given him a good swat in the past, and I must admit, have used his nose as my own personal punching bag but I have never bit him until just recently.

I was minding my own bee's wax, kitty nappin' on the couch, my Dad was watching this thing they call hockey on the talking picture box, and bro Bow was snorin' in front of the place with fire. A pretty pic if I do say so myself. Then this serene picture, my blissful sleep, was violently interrupted by a huge head the size of bull moose, rootin' underneath me and lifting me up in the air. I wake up a bit cranky, I know, hard to believe, this time being no exception. I found Bow with his nose underneath me lifting me up in the air, that was enough, I coiled, swatted at him rapid fire, opened wide, and bit him on his nose. This series of defensive maneuvers had no effect on the intruder as he kept rootin around underneath me. Finally the big lug found what he was looking for, a piece of popcorn, gobbled it down and departed. Come to find out, my Dad was eatin' some popcorn while watching the game. He usually shares some with Bow. He throws and Bow catches, this time one got away and landed right next to me and Bow went a fetchin', the rest of the story you know.

I promise to work on my bite, next time I'll bite him like I mean it, hehe.
