It's working!

I like being petted! I'm calm about it and would really get into it if Chibi weren't around to get jealous and come nip at me. I wish Jigsaw was still out here to help protect me. He's been inside for almost two weeks now! His leg was really mangled, and he's still not walking on it, but the doctor still doesn't think it's broken and is hopeful he will walk again since he can still knead his paw just fine and hold the bad paw off the ground when he limps. There is still hope he can come snuggle with me before Christmas.

Speaking of snuggling, I got my new shelter! Of course, Chibi won't let me use it on his deck... So they gave up and just put it in my shed. Extra wind and dog protection that way compared to being down on the patio. And it's nice because if I overheat I can get out and cool off just a little inside the shed. I'll make it through the winter okay.

I just need to keep trying to get Chibi to like me more. I try to be very submissive but he just keeps taking that as a sign to walk all over me, he doesn't seem to love me any more for it. Oh well. I know I'm a nice little boy. Jigsy loves me lots, and now my people get to pet me when they see me and I know that they love me, too.
