Arrival Story:
I was just a few weeks old when my parents found me at the grocery store. Two kids were offering me for sale outside in the sweltering heat, and I looked half dead, exhausted and dehydrated. The kids kept trying to feed me Kibbles-n-Bits Dog food, but I couldn't eat it. Mom and Dad initially passed me by (I know!), but the kids followed them to another grocery store, where we saw each other an hour later. A lady with a shopping cart full of cat litter (9 bags!) was yelling at the kids and their mother about animal abuse.
My Mom swooped in and said, "I'll take the cat!" After that I got some water, some real kitty food, and relaxed in the air conditioning, I perked right up.
